Product Details

Please see all images. There is a small chip on spout and some small chips on inside rim that are not visible when displayed. This is an authentic antique. Beautiful early 19th-century English Staffordshire transferware teapot body, dating approximately c.1820–1840. Features rich dark cobalt blue floral and fruit transfer decoration, an elegant footed form, curved spout, and decorative handle. This is an authentic antique piece with approximately 200 years of age and wonderful character. The original lid is missing, making this especially lovely for primitive, English country, cottage, colonial, or collected-home styling. Beautiful displayed alone or filled with dried florals, feathers, branches, or greenery. Unmarked base, which is common among early Staffordshire transferwares of this period. Fine age-related crazing, staining, glaze wear, and other signs of age are present. Lid is missing. Please review photos carefully for condition. Sold as found/as is.
