Nice vintage Dorset Swiss-made mechanical wristwatch, likely dating from approximately the 1960s–1970s, with a great mid-century look and an unusual dial. The silver/cream dial features raised Arabic numerals and hour markers, luminous accents, red sweep seconds hand, and distinctive red “UNBREAKABLE MAINSPRING” lettering above “ANTIMAGNETIC.” Dial is also marked “SWISS MADE.” Inside is a Swiss manual-wind mechanical movement marked “Dorset Watch Co. Inc. / Swiss / Unadjusted.” The screw-down case back is marked Dorset Watch Co., Swiss Made, along with the typical period markings for shock resistance, antimagnetic construction, stainless-steel back, and base-metal bezel. Condition: The watch winds and is currently running. It has not been professionally serviced or tested for long-term accuracy or power reserve, so it is being sold as a running vintage mechanical watch rather than as recently serviced.
