A fantastic Woobat and Swoobat Art Rare evolution pair from Japanese White Flare, with two completely different artistic styles giving each Pokémon its own character. Woobat 116/086 takes us underground into a colourful crystal-filled cave. Woobat floats happily amongst huge glowing formations, with the artwork using deep purples, blues, pinks and flashes of yellow to create an almost dreamlike atmosphere. The holo catching across all those crystals makes this one particularly striking in hand. Then Swoobat 117/086 takes the evolution line out of the cave and into the wild. The artwork switches to a bold, illustrated style as multiple Swoobat fly amongst the trees, with the sweeping lines through the centre giving the scene a real sense of sound and movement. Together they almost tell a little story — Woobat hidden away amongst the crystals before evolving into Swoobat and heading out into the forest with the rest of the colony.
