Fascinating antique Delta Sigma Phi fraternity sweetheart brooch featuring a dangling round photo locket and black enamel ΔΣΦ shield. The locket opens to reveal two round compartments, now empty—a wonderfully personal survivor from early collegiate/fraternal life. Gold-tone metal with beautifully aged patina. T-bar brooch top, articulated locket drop and hinged case. Unmarked as shown. Estimated c. 1920s–30s based on style and construction; exact age and metal content unknown. Shows authentic age-related wear, discoloration, oxidation, scratches and finish loss. May have spots and/or need cleaning.
