This timepiece stands out sharply with its two-tone silver/copper sector dial, radium-patina Arabic numerals, and sub-seconds dial. Mechanical Condition (FRESHLY SERVICED): Unlike most vintage bumper watches sold "as-is", this piece has a recent professional watchmaker service with an official receipt included. The Swiss 17-Jewel bumper movement (Cal. 816 base, US-export DXF code) was fully disassembled, cleaned, and freshly oiled. It winds efficiently, holds power, and runs smoothly. Case & History: Features the legendary decagonal screw-back "Rustless Steel" case (29mm excluding crown) made by master casemaker François Borgel / Taubert & Fils, stamped with BRIT. PAT. 385509.
