Charming vintage Lucinda house pin/brooch featuring a whimsical dimensional village scene in bright, cheerful colors. The design features layered geometric shapes forming colorful houses and trees, with a wonderful turquoise-blue circular accent resembling a moon or sun. Shades of green, red, yellow, blue, purple and muted rose give this piece the playful folk-art character Lucinda pins are known for. The brooch has a layered, dimensional construction rather than simply being a flat painted pin. The reverse is light/cream colored and fitted with a metal pin-back and safety clasp. The original Lucinda paper label is no longer present; a lighter rectangular area on the reverse appears consistent with where a label or sticker was previously attached.
