Wally’s Compassion 091/063 gives Wally the full Special Art Rare treatment, surrounded by flowers and greenery in a scene that feels almost completely removed from the usual battles and big attacks of the Pokémon TCG. The artwork by Jiro Sasumo suits Wally perfectly. He’s always been portrayed as a gentle, determined Trainer, and here we get that softer side of his character — sitting peacefully amongst the flowers with his Key Stone around his neck. There’s an incredible amount of detail packed into the vegetation too, with the bright blues, pinks and greens contrasting beautifully against the textured SAR finish.
