1976 Japanese Press – Tommy Bolin – Private Eyes CBS/Sony 25AP 293. Japanese pressing of Tommy Bolin’s second and final solo album, released in 1976. Includes the Japanese lyric/liner-notes insert shown. Private Eyes captures Bolin at the end of an extraordinary run that included the James Gang, Billy Cobham’s Spectrum, and Deep Purple. Highlights include “Bustin’ Out for Rosey,” “Sweet Burgundy,” “Shake the Devil,” and the nearly nine-minute “Post Toastee.” Runouts: Side A – 1A6 25AP-293A2 / Side B – 1A5 25AP-293B2. The album was released only months before Bolin’s death in December 1976 at age 25, making it the final studio album released during his lifetime. Record condition = EX Sleeve = VG+
