She completed a B.F.A. at Berliner Technische, Kunsthochshule in Berlin, Germany, and currently lives and works in Ehime, Japan. Influenced by her background in animation, comics, Catholic iconography, and her interest in the fast-paced visuals of internet culture, Mila's work deals with themes of identity, collective nostalgia, and personal mythologies.
