Charming vintage handmade wooden basset hound featuring layered wood construction and hand-painted details. This sleepy pup has oversized floppy ears, expressive eyes and a large dimensional paw. Measures approximately 15” long. Wonderful piece of vintage country craft/folk-art décor and especially cute for a dog or basset hound collector. Shows some surface wear, paint loss and imperfections consistent with age and handmade construction; see photo.
