Vintage Anchor Hocking Wexford clear pressed-glass dinner plate measuring approximately 9 5/8 inches across. The plate features the unmistakable Wexford design: a bold crisscross diamond lattice across the center, a dense textured diamond border and a dramatic radiating starburst motif in the middle. The deeply molded pattern catches the light especially well and gives this everyday dinnerware pattern much more visual presence than a plain clear-glass plate. Anchor Hocking introduced Wexford in the 1960s, and the pattern became one of the company's long-running American pressed-glass tableware lines.
