Beautiful vintage enameled cast iron escargot pan with a glossy white enamel finish and six individual wells designed for baking and serving escargot. The heavy round pan features substantial molded handles with ribbed detailing and six deep wells that securely hold snail shells while they bake in traditional garlic and herb butter. The underside reveals the distinctive raised forms created by each escargot well—a wonderful piece of specialized vintage French-style cookware. Its crisp white enamel and sculptural shape make it equally appealing displayed in a collected kitchen alongside antique ironstone and other early culinary pieces.
