Vintage 1980s Mustard Seed plaid shirt dress in a striking mix of red, magenta, purple and blue. This lightweight vintage day dress has a classic shirtwaist-inspired silhouette with a pointed collar, partial button-front bodice, elasticized waist and softly gathered skirt. The puffed shoulders give the dress a distinctly 1980s silhouette without being overly dramatic. A plaid flap pocket at the left chest is cut on the bias for contrast, Side pockets. Long sleeves finish with coordinating cuffs. The lightweight fabric is slightly sheer and feels like a cotton blend; however, fabric content is unknown. In overall excellent vintage condition. There is some slight piling under the arms and a small hole and markings on the bottom hem as shown in photos. Price reflects these condition issues.
