Vintage Novelty Lemon Brooch / PinEra: circa 1930s–1940s Genuine Bakelite (Tested positive with 409 formula—yields the classic nicotine-yellow residue). Vibrant yellow lemon shape featuring intaglio-cut/carved leaf lines filled with green accent paint. Pin Mechanism Features a sturdy metal safety catch plate firmly attached to the back. The pin stem extends past the clasp (classic early construction style for securing to thicker vintage garments). Very good vintage condition. No chips or deep cracks to the Bakelite body. Has some visible factory adhesive/glue residue surrounding the metal backing plate as is common with these early novelty pieces. See photos against ruler for exact scale
