In The NeverEnding Story III: Escape from Fantasia (1994), a young teenager named Bastian Balthazar Bux must navigate a new town, a hostile stepsister, and a vicious high school bullying gang called "The Nasties". After Bastian uses the magical book to escape to Fantasia, the bullies, led by Slip (played by Jack Black), find the book on Earth and begin rewriting it to destroy the fantasy kingdom. Bastian must team up with his stepsister and a group of accidentally displaced Fantasian creatures to take back the book and restore peace to both worlds.
