Vintage Spode Williamsburg Provincial Garden side plate, approximately 6.25" diameter. Beautiful cranberry/burgundy transferware design featuring birds, flowers, fruit and ornate scrolling foliage. Made in England. The reverse is marked “Williamsburg Provincial Garden,” noting that the design was inspired by a late 18th-century English copperplate-printed textile in the collections of Colonial Williamsburg. Marked Spode Made in England S3610-A3. This pattern is discontinued and is highly collectible among Spode and Colonial Williamsburg collectors.
