Unique vintage Bastar tribal metalwork from India featuring a stylized four-armed figural form with two raised arms supporting shallow dish-like receptacles and two lower arms with small holes. The figure and base feature extensive hand-incised/beaded decoration and a dark aged patina. Likely a decorative or ritual oil lamp/candelabra in the traditional Bastar folk-bronze style of Chhattisgarh, India. Dating is estimated to the mid-20th century; exact age and maker are unknown. Measures approximately 6" tall. Wonderful primitive/folk-art character with substantial visual presence.
