The basket is constructed from natural, honey-brown willow or rattan strands woven tightly together. The high, curved handle is integrated into the sides with an open, decorative criss-cross pattern. The very top center of the handle is wrapped in a thick, textured twine or jute rope to provide a comfortable grip.
