Such an unusual vintage pair! These round clip-on earrings feature large domed milky-white cabochon centers surrounded by individually applied striped art-glass beads in cobalt blue, red/orange and white. The tiny glass beads have wonderful variations in their striping, giving the earrings a colorful, handcrafted appearance. Aged amber-colored adhesive is visible around and beneath portions of the beadwork and center cabochons and appears consistent across both earrings. I believe this is associated with their original construction rather than a later isolated repair. Finished with silver-tone metal backs and classic clip-on findings.
