Features the sought-after OM assayer mark of Manuel Ochoa. 1832 Mexican 2 Reales silver coin struck during the early days of the First Mexican Republic. Features the classic Cap & Rays design on the reverse and the Mexican Golden Eagle on the obverse. Marked with the famous Zacatecas Mint (Zs) and assayer initials (OM). Struck in 90.3% fine silver (10 Dineros). While 8 Reales coins from this era were hoarded for international trade, this 2 Reales minor was the true "worker bee" of daily commerce in 1830s Mexico, making it a scarcer find for collectors today.
