2009 Original Press – HURT – Goodbye to the Machine Amusement Recordings, scarce original 2009 2LP gatefold pressing, fully signed inside by all four band members in silver marker. Recorded during HURT’s post-Capitol independent era and mastered by legendary engineer Bernie Grundman. An especially difficult title to find on vinyl. This edition was sourced from an analog production—the original release even included downloads sampled directly from the ½-inch analog masters. Features “Wars,” “Pills,” “Got Jealous” and “World Ain’t Right,” featuring Shaun Morgan of Seether. Runouts: A: AMUSE 001-A B: AMUSE 001-B C: AMUSE 001-C D: AMUSE 001-D Interesting that these exact A/B/C/D matrices are also documented on the 2009 test pressing, which was mastered/lacquer cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering, but it could be that all copies carried that # as there was another documented copy with the same #’s. Record is beautiful, VG++ to EX, looks unplayed and the cover is beautiful as well.
