Beautiful antique turn-of-the-century Jacquard-woven tapestry panel, likely produced in the Aubusson or Flanders textile tradition, depicting a charming pastoral scene with figures, a dog, trees, and countryside scenery. The warm sepia and monochromatic palette beautifully imitates an 18th-century European pastoral engraving. The finely detailed textile is mounted in an older substantial wood frame with a delicate gilt beaded inner border. The reverse retains its thick wood backing, old iron brads/tacks, and remnants of aged backing paper, all adding to its wonderful antique character.
