🤠🔫 SADDLE UP, PARTNER. APPARENTLY 1992 CHILDREN WERE EXPECTED TO HANDLE THEIR OWN DISPUTES AT HIGH NOON. Before tablets. Before Roblox. Before anybody decided children needed twelve different varieties of sensory slime, Tootsietoy was out here putting TWO DIE-CAST METAL COWBOY PISTOLS INTO A BOX WITH DOUBLE HOLSTERS and basically saying, “Good luck out there, little sheriff.” This is the 1992 Tootsietoy American West Double Holster Set, and sweet frontier Jesus, they committed to the assignment. You get the full cowboy situation: two silver-tone die-cast toy cap pistols with ivory-colored grips, embossed brown double holsters, matching belt with oversized buckle, and enough Wild West energy to immediately make every piece of furniture in your house part of an imaginary saloon. The box proudly announces DIE CAST METAL TOUGH! with a sheriff badge, crossed six-shooters, galloping cowboys, desert cacti and a giant MADE IN USA flag because subtlety had apparently been outlawed west of the Mississippi. And the back isn't screwing around either. There is an entire miniature history lesson about Dodge City, Bat Masterson, Jesse James, cattle rustlers, bandits and the lawmen of the 1870s. You weren't just getting cowboy toys. You were getting a curriculum. This bad boy has remained new in its original package since 1992, meaning these tiny frontier weapons never got dragged through a backyard cattle drive, shoved into the waistband of a six-year-old wearing Ninja Turtle pajamas, or used to apprehend a younger sibling for stealing the last Capri Sun. There is one little 34-year-old packaging rebellion happening: the cello/window has separated from the glue at the upper-right area of the box. It's pretty inconspicuous when displayed and the contents remain housed inside the original package, but we're documenting it because surprises belong in birthday cakes and episodes of Unsolved Mysteries, not eBay orders. There's even an old Kay-Bee Toys $12.99 price sticker still hanging around up top, which is basically an archaeological artifact from the extinct American shopping mall ecosystem. A wonderfully ridiculous surviving chunk of early-'90s toy aisle history, back when cowboy sets contained actual die-cast metal and nobody needed the packaging to explain that pretending to be Jesse James was probably not a viable long-term career plan. 🚫 PLEASE NOTE: Cancellations are not accepted. Please review the listing carefully and purchase only when you’re ready to complete the transaction. ✨ Follow me for more vintage toys, nostalgic nonsense & weird treasures dragged back into civilization.
