Sweet pair of vintage white ceramic duck-shaped salt and pepper shakers. These mid-century style anthropomorphic birds feature molded wings, tails, and facial expressions. The original hand-painted cold paint details on the beaks, eyes, and bodies have significantly faded and worn off over time, giving them a completely blank, white silhouette appearance. They are ideal as a restoration project for repainting, or they can be left exactly as they are for a minimalist, cottagecore, or modern farmhouse aesthetic. Both shakers come with their bottom stoppers included.Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. There is heavy paint loss, fading, and discoloration where the original coloring has worn away.
