Product Details

Made in February 1945 at the Newell, West Virginia plant, and the backstamp says so if you know how to read it: B45N6. Wartime American china, still glowing. Eggshell Georgian body, so it is thinner and lighter than it looks. Heavy gold filigree scrollwork around the rim in two bands, ivory ground, and a hand applied floral bouquet transfer at the center with pink roses, purple anemone, and blue forget me nots. Very much in the Cashmere and Countess family of Georgian gold patterns. Condition: light gold wear in spots, no chips or cracks noted.
