Originally published in 1894, Lieder-Perlen was compiled for use in schools and contains a fascinating collection of German and English songs, including sacred hymns, secular songs and children’s/school music arranged for one, two and three voices. This copy features a gorgeous green cloth hardcover with an ornate Victorian-style illustration of a teacher surrounded by children singing from books. Interior songs feature beautiful German Fraktur/blackletter typography and full musical notation.
