Beautiful antique/vintage oval serving platter featuring delicate sprays of pink and lavender lilacs with tiny white flowers and green foliage. Scalloped shaped edge with gold trim and decorative gold flourishes at each end. The BEST part of this piece is the incredible all-over crazing and warm age staining — it has exactly that timeworn, collected-over-generations look that makes old ironstone and transferware-style pieces so pretty for cottage, English country and farmhouse displays. Back is marked with an older winged/griffin-style maker’s mark that appears to read T & T/T&T. I would leave the maker unidentified unless we can positively nail that mark down. Vintage/antique condition with extensive crazing, discoloration/age staining, surface wear and wear to the gold consistent with age. Please see photos — definitely a piece for someone who loves authentic patina rather than pristine china. Perfect displayed on a plate stand, tucked into a hutch, layered behind crocks.
