Cut and pasted from Google: Authentic 19th-century primitive Americana. This is a smooth-faced wooden butter worker scoop manufactured by Anderson & Gardner. Features a crisp, legible maker stamp on the handle reading: "ECLIPSE BUTTER WORKER, Patented July 29, 1884, Made by Anderson & Gardner." Unlike common unmarked paddles, this collector's piece features a beautifully carved ergonomic curved handle and a wide, smooth scoop designed for lifting fresh butter blocks from liquid buttermilk. It boasts a gorgeous aged wood patina with smooth edges. Perfect for farmhouse decor, antique kitchen collections, or primitive country displays.
