Fantastic piece of vintage grocery-store advertising! Large white milk-glass-style Duraglas peanut butter jar with its original bright yellow and orange metal lid marked: “nu-made PEANUT BUTTER” The molded glass jar has a fabulous barrel shape with raised bands and vertical panels. Duraglas is embossed into the glass near the base. The yellow metal lid with orange graphics is absolutely the star and gives this piece fantastic retro pantry appeal. Approximately 8” tall and substantial in size. Perfect for vintage advertising collectors, old grocery/general store displays, retro kitchens, pantry décor or farmhouse styling. Vintage condition with considerable authentic age and use wear, including scratches, marks, discoloration and finish loss to the metal lid and surface wear/marks to the jar. I would not clean this aggressively — the aged advertising lid is part of its charm.
