Victorian Doulton Burslem England “Peel” Flow Blue Dinner Plate | c. 1891–1902 Oh, this blue. 💙 An absolutely beautiful late-Victorian Doulton Burslem PEEL pattern dinner plate dating to approximately 1891–1902. Deep cobalt Flow Blue florals trail around the wide scalloped border with that wonderful soft movement and bleeding we love in true Flow Blue. Finished with a delicate gilt edge and a wonderfully simple white center that lets that elaborate border do all the talking. Backmarked Doulton Burslem England – PEEL. The presence of England on this particular Doulton mark dates it to the 1891–1902 period. Measures: approx. 10½" diameter. Beautiful antique character with age-related wear to the gilt and minor signs of more than 120 years of life. Please review photos for condition.
