Oh, if this old fellow could talk. 🦌 Wonderful old cast brass deer, measuring approximately 6¼" tall × 4½" wide, with loads of age, patina and character. Originally made as a decorative candle holder—the vessel/cup would have mounted into the opening on his back. He has definitely lived a life: one antler is missing, and the original candle vessel/cup is also missing. Surface wear, oxidation, discoloration and other signs of age are present throughout. I actually love him exactly as he is. A great little piece of imperfect old brass for a primitive, collected Christmas display, tucked among antique books, ironstone and greenery—or simply displayed year-round for his wonderful sculptural shape. Condition: AS FOUND / incomplete. One antler and candle vessel are missing. Please review photos carefully.
