Such a good old utilitarian piece! Vintage wooden storage/tool box constructed with visible finger joints at the corners and fitted with brass-tone hinges and two front closures. One closure is marked Presto Lock Co., Garfield, N.J., Made in U.S.A. The warm wood grain, simple construction, and functional hardware give it exactly the kind of understated character that works beautifully in primitive, industrial, or collected interiors. Great for storing old photographs, letters, ephemera, artist supplies, small tools, or simply styled open with antique books, greenery, ironstone, and other collected treasures.
