Vintage WB/W pierced serving spoon/skimmer with a decorative perforated metal design, wood handle, and metal ferrule. Marked WB/W, commonly attributed to Wallace Brothers of Wallingford, Connecticut. Measures approximately 12” long. This serving spoon/skimmer appears to date to the early 20th century. Great rustic farmhouse, primitive, cottagecore, or grandmacore kitchen display piece with lots of authentic age and character. Condition: Displays a beautifully aged, timeworn patina with worn wood finish, aged metal, oxidation, and remnants of the original red paint. The natural wear gives this piece wonderful authentic character, making it especially well suited for primitive, rustic farmhouse, or vintage kitchen display. Please see photos for details.
