Beautiful antique Wood & Son “Verona” Royal Semi Porcelain plate, made in England. Features the richly decorated Verona pattern with large orange/rust florals, deep navy blue, pale blue and green accents over intricate brown transfer decoration. Generous gold gilt highlights accent the leaves, patterned bands and distinctive scalloped/gadrooned rim. Backmarked Verona – Royal Semi Porcelain – Wood & Son – England. Measures approximately 9” across. Condition: Antique condition with visible overall crazing, age-related surface wear and wear/loss to portions of the gold gilt, particularly around the rim.
