This is a classic European-style mechanical Hampelmann (jumping jack) holiday ornament handcrafted from wood and hand-painted in a traditional blue and red uniform with white and gold accents. When the bottom cord with the red bead is pulled, the jointed arms and legs move outward in a jumping motion.
