Vintage Mexican sterling silver convertible brooch and pendant featuring a beautifully hand-engraved Mesoamerican stepped-pyramid landscape. The detailed scene includes mountain peaks, flying birds and native plants framed by a textured round border. The reverse is fitted with both a pin clasp and pendant bail, allowing it to be worn as either a brooch or necklace pendant. Hallmarked “HECHO EN MEXICO,” “D.F. 925,” “GZH” and Mexican Eagle 90. The eagle hallmark dates the piece approximately between 1948 and 1979. Weight: 7 grams. Pre-owned vintage condition with surface scratches, tarnish and natural patina consistent with age.
