I do not know if this is a lampshade or a base for a lamp. It weighs 5 pounds. It is beautiful found at a cleanout of a house. This is great for collectors or for crafters. I do see a slight crack in it, which seems to be just on the outside it didn’t go through and you can hardly feel it when is gorgeous thank you
