Product Details

A gorgeous vintage Masonic keepsake box featuring the Square & Compasses with the "G" emblem inlaid on the lid, framed by intricate geometric micro-mosaic marquetry in the Damascus/Syrian (Sorrento) style. The banded borders combine tiny wood, bone, and light inlay tesserae — the kind of fine parquetry produced for fraternal gifts and export in the early-to-mid 20th century. Brass butt hinges, plain wood interior. A great fit for a Mason, a lodge, or a collector of fraternal and Masonic memorabilia. Condition: Vintage, well-preserved, and structurally sound. Some inlay loss and chipping at the corners and border, and minor wear to the lid emblem, consistent with age and use (please see photos). Hinges intact and functional; no key/lock. Interior clean with light age staining. Sold as-is — please review all photos closely, as they form the basis of the description and display condition accurately. Approx. measurements: 4x5x1.5"
