On the bottom of the reverse side, you will find the letters "Zs" (Zacatecas Mint) and "O.V." These initials belong to the mint assayers José Vela and Manuel Ochoa. Because this specific assayer duo only certified silver at the Zacatecas mint for a brief three-year window (1829–1831), "OV" stamped coins carry a premium over more common assayer marks.
