Petite vintage hand-painted French faïence covered jar in the traditional Moustiers style. Features a charming golden bird surrounded by colorful florals and foliage in green, blue and ochre. Hand marked on bottom “Décor Moustiers / Fait main / Hand Made in France.” Approx. 4.5” tall × 2” diameter PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: There is chipping/loss and cracking along one section of the upper rim, as clearly shown in photos. Much of the damaged area is concealed when the lid is in place, and the piece displays beautifully. Sold as-is for decorative/display use. Wonderful little piece for French country, European cottage, collected pottery or Moustiers-style decor.
