Charming handmade baby or crib-size patchwork quilt made from an assortment of soft pastel novelty fabrics. The front features a large center panel of pink elephants surrounded by coordinating patchwork fabrics with butterflies, colorful foxes, stars and moons, gingham and additional elephant prints. Pink and blue fabrics create a sweet nursery-style color palette. Finished around the outside with decorative gray and white lace trim. The reverse is a peachy-pink fabric with a small white novelty print. The quilt has distinctive free-form quilting worked in contrasting pink/red thread, including large circular and looping shapes across the quilt. The quilting is intentionally irregular in appearance, adding to its homemade folk-art character. Some loose/long thread areas and irregular stitching are present. Pre-owned in good condition with handmade irregularities, loose/long thread areas and signs of previous use. Please review photos for details.
