One-of-a-kind handmade patchwork scrap quilt featuring an eclectic assortment of mixed fabrics and prints. The quilt incorporates florals, novelty prints, holiday and snowflake fabrics, woodland animals, geometric designs, solids and other assorted patterns in an improvisational patchwork layout. Finished with a soft green border/binding and coordinating solid light green backing. Various areas feature visible machine and zigzag stitching, adding to the handmade folk-art character. This is an intentionally eclectic handmade piece rather than a precisely matched or commercially manufactured quilt. Fabrics appear to be from different periods and may include repurposed materials. Preowned handmade condition with irregularities consistent with homemade construction, including uneven/wavy edges, varied stitching, doesn't lay entirely flat, and some loose or visible threads.
