Beautiful Vintage Guernsey Glass Crocus three-footed toothpick holder in a striking orange and red slag glass colorway. This ornate American pressed-glass piece features the intricate Crocus pattern, with deeply molded floral panels, scrolling motifs, geometric details and textured foliage. A decorative scalloped rim surrounds the top, while three dimensional scroll feet give the small vessel its distinctive shape. The gorgeous slag glass displays organic marbled ribbons and variations of fiery red, creamy orange and soft milky tones throughout the body and feet. The natural variation created during production gives each slag glass example its own individual coloration and pattern. The glass is also UV Reactive, producing a strong, luminous reaction under UV light as shown in the photos. Measuring approximately 2 5/8 inches tall x 2 1/4 inches wide, this is a wonderful piece for collectors of Guernsey Glass, Crocus glass, orange slag glass, red slag glass, UV Reactive glass, vintage toothpick holders, footed glass, pressed glass and American art glass.
