WWI Imperial German (Bavarian) Infantryman in full marching order. This exceptionally sharp cabinet card features a soldier posing with a Pickelhaube (spiked helmet), a Gewehr 98 rifle, and an Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon looped prominently through his tunic buttonhole. The photograph was taken by Atelier Düll, located at Türkenstr. 31 in Munich, historically situated right beside the Türkenkaserne (Turk's Barracks). Some VERY light age consistent wear is present but no major issues. Great looking piece all around! See photos for details. Thanks!
