Original 1866 handwritten business letter from Densmore & Black (New York) to the prominent manufacturing firm Rice, Barton & Co. • Date: February 28, 1866 • Content: Discusses the installation of their industrial boilers in New England, specifically mentioning a "fish boiling establishment near Groton" and a "woolen factory... at Mohegan" (Rhode Island). They offer a partnership to build the boilers, boasting "they are the best thing out." • Size: Standard 19th-century folded letter sheet, approx. 8" x 5" (folded).
