An exceptional piece of Edwardian English ceramic history! This large 15.75-inch antique oval serving platter was crafted by the renowned Wood & Sons company in Burslem, Staffordshire, England. Features their beautiful "Woodland" pattern, showcasing rich, flowing cobalt blue floral clusters and delicate scrolled foliage over a gracefully scalloped edge. Prominently stamped on the reverse with the authentic crown Royal Semi Porcelain maker's mark, the official British design registry number "Rd No 539329" (dating the pattern to 1909), and blind-impressed factory mold/size codes "8 10" in the clay base.
