Vintage W.C. Bunting Co. University of Michigan ceramic beer stein/tankard, approximately 6" tall. Glossy black pottery features gold bands, Gothic “University of Michigan” lettering and the university seal with 1817. Large angular handle has a hand-applied gold accent. Bottom is marked “W.C. Bunting Co. Hand Decorated Wellsville, Ohio.” A striking piece of vintage Wolverines, collegiate and Ohio pottery memorabilia, likely dating to the mid-to-late 20th century. No chips or cracks noted.
