Product Details

This is a small hotel-ware style pitcher in mirror-polished 18/8 stainless steel, featuring a hinged, thumb-lift lid, a pinched pouring spout and an angular strap handle typical of mid-century restaurant service pieces. It is stamped on the underside "RADIANT 18/8 STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN," identifying it as Japanese-made commercial tableware sold for diner, hotel and household use as a creamer, syrup or hot-water server. Pieces of this type were produced from roughly the 1960s into the 1970s, when Japanese stainless hollowware was widely exported to the American hospitality market.
