This is a novelty shaped cake pan formed as a gingerbread man with an embossed smiling face, bow tie, and three buttons that transfer onto the baked cake. It was made by Wilton Industries, the Illinois-based baking and cake-decorating company, in nonstick-coated stamped steel and carries the raised "Wilton" script mark near the figure's feet. Pans of this style were produced for the holiday baking market from the late 20th century into the 2000s and remain popular for Christmas gingerbread-themed cakes.
