Product Details

This is a manual rotary egg beater featuring a copper/bronze-toned stamped metal frame with pierced handle, an open-spoke geared drive wheel, and a turned black wood crank knob. Beaters of this pattern were produced by American kitchen tool makers such as A&J, Taplin, and Androck, though this example carries no clearly legible maker's mark. The construction, gear design, and wood knob suggest manufacture in the early-to-mid 20th century, roughly the 1920s through the 1940s.
